FRONT VIEW / DESIGN
OPEN HEM.
FULL PRESENCE.
Curved seams and an open hem shape the washed knit.
01 / 06
An open hem changes the silhouette.
The wide open hem gives these sweatpants a different line from a cuffed jogger. Curved outer seams make the volume deliberate, while a small bone-colored abstract motif adds identity without covering the fabric. Establish the cloth structure and finished length together so the leg falls rather than collapses around the shoe.
DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
Curved outer-leg seams, bone drawcord and small abstract stitched artwork; restrained rear pocket.
MATERIAL DIRECTION
Fleece or French terry options; composition, finished weight, internal surface and shrinkage requirements agreed on sample.

BACK VIEW / DETAILS
QUIET DETAILS.
STRONG SHAPE.
A restrained rear keeps the fabric and volume in view.
02 / 06
Keep the knit balanced at the back.
The back uses a quiet patch-pocket direction to keep the washed knit and broad seat visible. Pocket placement and support should be checked on the worn sample. Agree the rear branding separately from the front artwork and avoid adding weight that distorts the knit.
REAR CONSTRUCTION
A single right rear patch pocket keeps the reverse quiet; the orbit embroidery remains on the front left thigh. Approve pocket support on the chosen knit.
SAMPLE REVIEW

03 / 06
Define width without losing the waist.
Wide-leg sweats need a comfortable waist without excessive gathering through the seat. Specify both relaxed and extended waist measurements, then set rise, thigh ease and hem opening. Review the inseam with the intended shoes and confirm grading after the base-size fit is approved.
MEASUREMENT BRIEF
Relaxed and extended waist, hip, rise, thigh, knee, inseam and open hem width.
APPROVAL & GRADING
Approve the base-size sample and record changes before grading the range. Confirm finished measurements after the agreed finishing and care process.

Choose the knit before the finish.
The knit, seams and decoration should be reviewed as a system. Fleece and French terry offer different internal surfaces, so choose the intended feel before confirming material weight. Review the curved joins for stretch and appearance and approve any embroidery backing against the fabric on a sample.

ON-BODY / 05
DRAPE
IN CONTEXT.
Wide knit volume settles around the shoe.
05 / 06
Let the hem settle naturally.
A compact light top separates the charcoal leg from the upper body and makes the open hem clear. A changed stance demonstrates how the knit falls over footwear. The imagery communicates styling intent; it cannot confirm actual fabric weight, softness or wash performance.
COLLECTION CONTEXT
Review this silhouette with the tops and footwear planned for your collection. Styling images illustrate the direction; physical fit is approved on the sample.
ORIGINAL CONCEPT

BEFORE YOU SEND YOUR BRIEF
How are these different from joggers?
This direction has a wide open hem rather than a close ankle cuff. Rise, thigh width and inseam are developed together to create the intended line.
Can we use French terry instead of brushed fleece?
Yes. Tell us the season, desired internal surface and fabric feel. The material and finished weight are selected during sampling.
Can the artwork be changed?
Yes. Supply your original artwork, size and placement. We assess the decoration method, backing and appearance on the chosen knit.
