FRONT VIEW / DESIGN
CUT IN COLOR.
BUILT IN VOLUME.
Sweeping panels create the line across a wide woven leg.
01 / 06
Make the panel part of the pattern.
The sweeping panel shape is the visual signature of this track-pant direction. A wide leg gives the ivory sections space to curve around the navy base, with muted piping defining the join. Develop the panel proportions as part of the pattern rather than treating them as stripes added after the fit is finished.
DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
Sweeping ivory panels, muted-burgundy piping, elastic waist and ankle zip openings.
MATERIAL DIRECTION
Matte woven shell with compatible contrast panels; composition, weight, lining needs and finish confirmed during development.

BACK VIEW / DETAILS
ONE LINE.
ALL AROUND.
The color-block construction continues around the garment.
02 / 06
Continue the line around the leg.
The rear should continue the side-panel logic while keeping the seat comfortable. Check where the contrasting pieces meet the waistband and hem and how they appear from behind. Rear pocket placement can be adjusted without interrupting the intended color-block line.
REAR CONSTRUCTION
The sweeping side panels continue around the leg, with a restrained right rear welt pocket. Check panel joins and pocket placement on the worn sample.
SAMPLE REVIEW
Panel registration, piping joins, zip operation, lining clearance if used and color compatibility.

FIT STUDY / 03
ZIP OPEN.
SHAPE CHANGED.
- PANEL PATHReview front, side and back.
- LEG WIDTHKeep volume through the knee.
- ANKLE ZIPSpecify the opening length.
- WAIST RANGEApprove relaxed and extended fit.
03 / 06
Check the hem in both positions.
Approve the trousers with the ankle zips closed and open. The opening changes how the hem falls over a shoe, while the upper leg should retain the chosen width. Record zip length, hem dimensions and finished inseam alongside the relaxed and extended waistband measurements.
MEASUREMENT BRIEF
Waist relaxed/extended, hip, rise, thigh, knee, inseam, hem width and ankle-zip opening length.
APPROVAL & GRADING
Approve the base-size sample and record changes before grading the range. Confirm finished measurements after the agreed finishing and care process.

04 / 06
Align color, seam and hardware.
Curved color-block joins require consistent panel alignment and seam handling. Review piping intersections and the point where the ankle zip enters the hem. Main fabric, contrast fabric and any lining should be assessed together for appearance and behavior after the agreed finishing and care process.
MATERIAL CHOICE
Matte woven shell with compatible contrast panels; composition, weight, lining needs and finish confirmed during development.
CONSTRUCTION CHECK
Panel registration, piping joins, zip operation, lining clearance if used and color compatibility.

ON-BODY / 05
TRACK ROOTS.
STREET PROPORTIONS.
Ankle openings and wide proportions work together.
05 / 06
A track influence with street volume.
A compact dark top allows the sweeping side panels to carry the outfit. The walking view makes the relationship between the leg width and ankle opening clearer. This is a streetwear styling concept; sports-performance or weather-protection claims would require separately specified materials and testing.

BEFORE YOU SEND YOUR BRIEF
Are the contrast areas printed?
This concept uses cut-and-sew panels. A printed alternative can be discussed, but its appearance and construction would differ.
Can we choose a lining?
Yes. Tell us the intended season and feel. Shell, lining, pocket bags and zip clearances are reviewed together during sampling.
Can these match a jacket or track top?
Yes. Send the complete set brief so we can review panel lines, color references and material choices across both garments.
