FRONT VIEW / DESIGN
VOLUME.
HELD IN SHAPE.
Curved sleeves and a compact rib hem define the silhouette.
01 / 06
A bomber built through proportion.
Rounded sleeves and a broad olive body create volume above a compact ribbed hem. Curved seam panels add identity without depending on a large logo. Set the body width and finished length together so the jacket sits deliberately over wide trousers instead of looking like a conventional bomber in a larger size.
DESIGN DIRECTION
A broad body, curved sleeve panels, a zipped sleeve pocket, front zip and ribbed collar, cuffs and hem.
MATERIAL DEVELOPMENT
Matte woven shell with a washed appearance, suitable lining and coordinated rib trims. Composition, shell weight, lining feel and rib recovery are selected from physical references.

BACK VIEW / DETAILS
CURVES.
WITHOUT CLUTTER.
A clean back leaves room for the rounded sleeve shape.
02 / 06
Carry the volume around the body.
The reverse should keep the shoulder and sleeve curves readable while allowing the body to move. Review the back width with the front zip closed and check that the lining does not lift the hem. A small upper-back detail can be developed separately from the sleeve pocket.
BACK & INTERIOR
Specify back width, seam paths and lining ease. Keep artwork clear of seams unless the placement is deliberately engineered.
SAMPLE CHECK
Sleeve-panel alignment, pocket access, rib recovery, lining ease and zip operation when worn over the intended layer.

FIT STUDY / 03
BODY WIDTH.
RIB CONTROL.
- BODY LENGTHSet the hem over your underlayer.
- BICEP EASEAllow rounded sleeve volume.
- RIB OPENINGApprove relaxed and extended fit.
- BACK WIDTHCheck forward arm movement.
03 / 06
Balance rib tension with body volume.
A cropped bomber depends on the relationship between its shell and rib openings. Too much hem tension can pull the body upward; too little changes the intended silhouette. Review the sample with arms forward and raised, then approve chest, bicep, sleeve length and rib recovery with your chosen underlayer.
MEASUREMENT BRIEF
Chest, shoulder, body length, sleeve length, bicep, armhole depth and relaxed/extended rib openings; include intended underlayer thickness.
FIT APPROVAL
Review the base size with the intended underlayer. Record changes before grading; confirm finished measurements after the agreed finishing and care process.

PANELS MEET
RIB.
- CURVED PANELSAlign seams at the sleeve.
- RIB TRIMSReview tension and recovery.
- LINING EASEAvoid pulling at cuffs and hem.
04 / 06
Resolve the sleeve and rib junctions.
Curved panels, rib cuffs and a sleeve zip pocket introduce several seam intersections. Check alignment, allowance bulk and the inside finish before approving the sample. The shell, lining and rib should work together after the agreed care process; material selection and sewing details are assessed as a complete garment.
MATERIAL CHOICE
Matte woven shell with a washed appearance, suitable lining and coordinated rib trims. Composition, shell weight, lining feel and rib recovery are selected from physical references.
CONSTRUCTION REVIEW
Sleeve-panel alignment, pocket access, rib recovery, lining ease and zip operation when worn over the intended layer.

ON-BODY / 05
OLIVE.
IN CONTEXT.
Olive volume balanced with a compact underlayer.
05 / 06
Make volume part of the outfit.
A pale tee and relaxed dark trousers keep the olive shell visible. The low viewpoint emphasizes the shorter body and rounded sleeves, while a second pose helps show how the rib hem settles. Use these styling views to communicate the desired proportion, then assess mobility on a physical sample.
COLLECTION CONTEXT
Review sleeve movement and hem position over the tops intended for your collection.

BEFORE YOU SEND YOUR BRIEF
Can the bomber be longer rather than cropped?
Yes. Send the intended body length and hem position. We rebalance body width, pockets and rib tension around that proportion.
Can we use a different shell or lining?
Yes. Share the desired handle and season. Shell, lining and rib are sampled together to establish the intended volume.
Can we replace the sleeve pocket with embroidery?
Yes. Supply artwork and placement dimensions. The decoration method and timing depend on the shell, lining and seam layout.
