FRONT VIEW / DESIGN
ONE YOKE.
A STRONG LINE.
A broad aubergine silhouette crossed by a clear yoke line.
01 / 06
A familiar coach shape, redrawn.
A sweeping bone shoulder yoke interrupts the aubergine shell and gives the coach jacket a distinctive line. The wide body retains the easy snap-front silhouette, while the pointed collar keeps the neckline defined. Develop the yoke proportion around the whole garment, not as a stripe added after the pattern is finished.
DESIGN DIRECTION
A pointed collar, snap front, sweeping contrast shoulder yoke, elastic cuffs and adjustable hem.
MATERIAL DEVELOPMENT
A matte lightweight woven shell with an aubergine washed appearance. Fiber content, weight, lining and final surface finish are project-specific.

BACK VIEW / DETAILS
CONTINUITY
ACROSS THE BACK.
A broad back yoke provides a clear graphic structure.
02 / 06
Continue the yoke across the reverse.
The back carries the contrast shoulder line while leaving the main body quiet. Check the yoke where it joins the sleeves and neckline, especially when the jacket is worn rather than laid flat. A separate rear print or embroidered identifier can be positioned without repeating the small front detail.
BACK & INTERIOR
Specify front and back yoke depths and the sleeve join. Review artwork independently from the contrast-panel construction.
SAMPLE CHECK
Yoke alignment, snap support, collar shape, hem-adjustment access and shell/lining movement.

FIT STUDY / 03
OPEN HEM.
ADJUSTED SHAPE.
- CHEST EASEMeasure with the snaps closed.
- YOKE DEPTHBalance front and back panels.
- HEM RANGEReview open and adjusted fit.
- CUFF POSITIONSet the sleeve at the wrist.
03 / 06
Control width at the hem.
The open hem gives a loose coach-jacket outline; adjustment changes the lower-body volume. Approve both positions on the sample and check the sleeve length with the elastic cuff settled at the wrist. Chest width, underlayer space and body length should be measured with the snaps closed.
MEASUREMENT BRIEF
Chest, shoulder, body length, sleeve length, bicep, cuff opening and open/adjusted hem width; mark the yoke line and snap spacing.
FIT APPROVAL
Review the base size with the intended underlayer. Record changes before grading; confirm finished measurements after the agreed finishing and care process.

- SNAP BACKINGMatch support to the cloth.
- HEM CHANNELConfirm cord access and routing.
04 / 06
Keep lightweight seams clean.
Contrast panels and snap attachments can create puckering or stiffness in a lighter woven shell. Review seam appearance, snap backing and the feel of the collar edge on the actual cloth. Confirm hem-channel routing and adjustment access before agreeing the final lining and finishing details.
MATERIAL CHOICE

ON-BODY / 05
AUBERGINE.
IN THE STREET.
A yoke-led graphic statement in matte woven fabric.
05 / 06
Color blocking without excess graphics.
A neutral trouser and simple tee allow the aubergine and bone yoke to do the visual work. The alternative pose shows the jacket in a relaxed street context with the full hem visible. Use the sample to check how the lightweight shell falls over your chosen underlayer.
COLLECTION CONTEXT
Review the contrast line from front, side and back before approving panel proportions.

Define the yoke, snaps and hem.

We review these details for a project-specific quote and establish the agreed construction on a sample before bulk.
SAMPLING & QUANTITY
MOQ starts from 50 pieces. Sample lead time is 7–20 days for the agreed scope. Revisions and bulk production schedules are confirmed separately.
APPROVAL BEFORE BULK
Confirm shell, lining or filling where applicable, fit, decoration, trims, labels and packaging before bulk approval. Product testing and report scope are agreed for your project.
BEFORE YOU SEND YOUR BRIEF
Can the jacket have a zip instead of snaps?
Yes. Closure changes affect the placket and collar construction. Send your preferred zip and opening layout for review.
Can we print on the back?
Yes. Supply original artwork, dimensions and placement. Printing or embroidery is assessed against the shell, seams and lining.
Does this shell have a weather rating?
No weather rating is specified for this concept. If performance is required, include the target test requirements so material and construction can be assessed.
